Chris Meacham’s expertise spans three decades in the accounting and financial services industry. His breadth of knowledge encompasses accounting, tax planning, investments, finance, wealth management, and a range of advisory services.  He began his accounting career in California, attaining CPA status while working at Price Waterhouse. Chris subsequently owned and operated his own financial services company in Austin, Texas, and managed the operations of an investment firm in San Diego for over ten years prior to founding Cornerstone Wealth Management in 1999. 

Chris graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1976 with a degree in Business Management/Finance.  He is a member of Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.  His current and past professional licenses and designations include:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Several Securities Licenses (Series, 7, 24, 27, 65)

• Commodities and Futures Representative (Series 3 License)

• Personal Financial Specialist (PFS)

• Real Estate Broker

• Life, Health & Disability Insurance Agent

Chris is an active community leader and gives back through his many volunteer and fundraising endeavors.  He is currently the president of the San Diego Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis, a member of the Foundation Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater San Diego, and the chair of the golf committee for the Poway Center for the Performing Arts.

Chris and his wife, Lesley, have been married since 1976.  They reside in Poway, California, and have four children and nine grandchildren.
