Increased Interest in Private Placements

These past few years have seen an increased interest by investors, especially institutional investors, in hedge funds and other alternative investments. The shift in attention has largely been spurred by the increasingly correlated returns of public investments. Several private placements still succeed in reducing their correlation to the larger public markets.
